Cupcake Album

authorprairiefairy | April 14, 2010

YES! You read right………CUPCAKE! I have always had an obsession with cupcakes. And I, for some strange reason, cannot control myself lately. This is actually an 8″ x 8″ mini album I created. My daughter recently celebrated her twelfth birthday, sob sob for mom, and I wanted to make a mini album of her occasion. This weekend Corry, Lori and I are going to scrappaganza, yeah!, and I wanted to actually do some scrapbooking, hence the album. Probably won’t actually happen but whatever, at least I tried! And here is is:
Of course it looks all flat and stupid right now because there is nothing in it but blank pages and only about 12 because it is a mini album and knowing me the spine will need room to grow as I will layer the dickens out of those pages! Buttons, papers, clips and brads!
Whew!
I created the album my enlarging one of my cupcake files to 9″ and once cut it makes an 8 x 8″ album. Yep, that’s right, you can enlarge those files to a full page! Can’t do that with rubber! Yippee!
I LOVE my ZUTTER! Amore!
have a great day all!

Library Allard workshop

authorprairiefairy | February 9, 2010

Good morning everyone! My what a productive week I am having but I am so very busy. These two pics here are one of the three projects that participants will be making at my workshop on Thursday evening at the St. Georges Library in St. Georges.
I know the girls are expecting three cards but I just love three dimensional projects and I am hoping they don’t mind that I threw one in there!
The image of course is Prairie Fairy. The cardstock from scrapaganza(going again in April, YEAH!) and I used a nestie to cut out the scallop border so they are going to be able to get their hands on my cuttlebug!!!
It is of course a frybox template that I downloaded somewhere I can’t remember, I free scaled it in photoshop so that you could print two off on an 8.5×11 sheet of cardstock and I am tossing it up here for anyone to swipe! Please make sure you click on the picture first to open it in your browser BEFORE you save it to your computer or else it will be really small.
Have fun with it and hopefully anyone considering taking my workshop will be convinced now! LOL!
If you are interested please contact the Library at this number and get registered!

Wedding favor boxes

authorprairiefairy | April 2, 2009

One of my stamp group members came up with these wedding favor boxes. We had a request from one of our members for invitation and favor ideas for her daughter’s wedding ( she is marrying my nephew!). Thanks Nikki for the great ideas!
